On January 15th, junior Garri Smith was recognized on VYPE Magazine’s private school team. This event is coordinated to award football players that excel in their position among the TAPPS Private School league.

Vypes recognized Smith with “First Team” for his performance throughout the season as defensive lineman. Coaches from the TAPPS Division 5 teams voted and ranked Smith for this honor based on submitted film and statistics.  

“I want to thank the coaches for pushing me further than I thought possible,” said Smith. “I am very grateful to be included in such a great manner for the defensive leg.”
