Qatar MUN Trip
From Sunday, January 20th to the 26th, 13 delegates of The Village School Model United Nations (MUN) team traveled to Qatar for The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN). THIMUN is one of the world’s most prestigious conferences, and this was the highest ranking conference the team has ever been to. THIMUN is different from the normal procedure of MUN and is all about the spirit of cooperation and diplomacy.
Delegations work together to come to an agreement that works for all parties and satisfies all nations. The team earned the highest honor a delegation can get, honorable mentions in their respective committees.
Outside of the conference, the delegates had a wonderful time at the desert safari, riding over sand dunes and sliding down sand piles!
