On Wednesday, January 29, 2020, The Village School held its annual Innovation Day.

This event allows students from Pre-K through 12th grade to showcase the inventive projects they have created throughout the year.

During the day, an expansive showcase was held in the Moore Gym, and students had the opportunity to display, vocalize, and promote their original ideas. These creative products spanned from apps for aiding students to lo-fi music to city models of the future.

“Innovation day was a really interesting experience for me because I was able to learn a lot about the initiatives undertaken in STEM by kids of all ages,” said freshman Divya Khatri. “And seeing how their different projects connected and related and used different skill sets [gave] me ideas on how I want to continue my passion for STEM in the future.”
