A Day in the Life of a High Schooler

On Thursday, February 20, 2020, eighth-graders from The Village School participated in the annual High School Preview Day. This event allowed incoming freshmen to experience life as a high school Viking.
“It was really interesting, ” said eighth-grader Marta Zucali, an attendee of the event. “ It helped me a lot because I really didn’t know what to expect, and the teachers were really open to any questions. They could have given us more information about the HS building, [but] it was [still] really helpful.”
Throughout the day, eighth-grade students cycled alongside their advisories through multiple classes and electives as teachers provided a preview of the subjects they teach.
