On Tuesday, October 12 and Thursday, October 14, 2021, the first in-person House meetings in two years occurred during advisory time. All of the Houses had different activities planned out for their members to enjoy and get initiated in their respective Houses. For example, Tyr House made initiation bracelets together, each bracelet containing a bead the shape of a wolf’s head, to symbolize what House the member belongs to. 

“I felt that our first House meeting this year was really fun,” said sophomore Thanh Giang, a Tyr House member. “When we were making our bracelets, we got the chance to talk to our fellow House members and got to interact with new members as well. What stood out to me the most was the friendliness and the hospitality of the House leaders and the teachers.”

In addition, students have received this year’s new House t-shirts during last week’s meetings, which differ in material and style from previous years. Make sure to wear them on Fridays and show people whose House reigns superior!
