Nina Koshy, Editor in Chief
Nina Koshy is currently the Editor in Chief of The Viking Press. She is a senior enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Diploma with a passion for writing! She is a Varsity Lacrosse player and enjoys playing Lacrosse with friends outside of school. She is involved in FBLA, Mock Trial and is a reporter for Buzz Magazine.
Ella Nguyen, Managing Editor
Ella Nguyen is a junior Copy Editor for The Viking Press who is a big board games enthusiast and hobbyist. She joined Viking Media as a freshman to exercise her love for writing and to learn more about the world and others.
Raphaëlle Bellerose, Copy Editor
Raphaëlle Bellerose is a Copy Editor for The Viking Press and is currently a sophomore. She is part of the Speech and Debate team and participates in fine arts clubs like theater and piano outside of school.
Haasini Yatagiri, Copy Editor
Haasini Yatagiri is a Copy Editor for The Viking Press and a junior pursuing the Entrepreneurship Diploma track exploring business ideas. In school, she enjoys challenging herself and is involved in NHS, Rho Kappa, and a Junior Delegate ambassador. She is a Varsity Golf player, enjoys time with friends and family outside of school. Haasini joined the newspaper because she wants to strengthen her writing and communication skills.
Edison Flores, Photography Editor & Illustrator
Edison Flores is currently a junior and The Viking Press’s photography editor/illustrator. They have a passion for the arts and particularly a hobby in drawing and photography. They also are a part of a variety of honor societies, mainly the art honor society, and other clubs like UNICEF.
Camilla Monarrez, Photography Editor
Camilla is the photography editor of The Viking Press and is currently a junior. She joined the Viking Media staff because she wanted to cover topics that are underrepresented in the school community.
Emily Greene, Illustrator
Emily Greene, also known as “Greene,” is a senior student illustrator for the Viking Press, working to expand her horizons by creating political cartoons that experiment with modern art styles combined with compelling yet straightforward dialogue. Her passions include animals, the arts, and representation; outside of school, she works with various non-profit organizations to foster and rehome dogs, as well as contribute to diversifying the game character industry with unique designs.
Selay Eser, Staff Writer
Selay Eser is a staff writer for The Viking Press and currently a senior. She joined Viking Media to not only bring awareness to issues and groups that often fly under the radar, but to also try a new activity in her last year of high school.
Ohuassi Alberto, Staff Writer
Ohuassi Alberto is a staff writer for The Viking Press. He is currently a freshman enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Diploma. He serves as the club reporter for The Viking Press. In school, he enjoys communicating with his classmates and staying focused in class. Outside of school, Ohuassi spends his time playing basketball, gaming, and watching TikTok. His passions are basketball and academics. A fun fact about Ohuassi is that he has three siblings and was born in Miami. He joined the newspaper because he loves interviewing people and taking photos, and he felt that being part of the newspaper would be the perfect opportunity to do both.
Terrell Braswell, Staff Writer
Terrell Braswell is a freshman and a staff writer for The Viking Press. In school, he loves talking with classmates and getting work done. Outside of school, he plays basketball, plays video games, and he loves watching Netflix in his free time. His passions are his career, whether it’s basketball or possibly working for ESPN as an analyst.

Skyla Chaiyavet is a staff writer for The Viking Press and is currently a freshman. She joined Viking Media to learn more about how to write articles and take photos.
Presleigh Duncan, Staff Writer
Presleigh Duncan is a sophomore, and is happy to be back on The Viking Press as a staff writer for the second year covering sports! In school she performs in plays, and is a proud member of Black Student Union, and in Student Government as one of the representatives for her grade.

Katelyn Hu is a sophomore at The Village School and a staff writer for the Viking Press. She is involved with various activities in school such as FBLA, MUN, and being a student ambassador.

Valentina Moretti is a staff writer for The Viking Press. Currently a junior, Valentina is an IB diploma candidate, member of numerous honors societies, and player for the Girls Varsity Soccer Team.

Mihika Singh is a staff writer for The Viking Press. She is a junior pursuing the IB Diploma, with a strong interest in science and business. She is involved in Habitat for Humanity and Mu Alpha Theta, and is a junior delegate in the student ambassador program.

Emma Strauss is a sophomore and staff writer for The Viking Press. She runs Varsity Cross Country and she is a theater student. Emma is passionate about reading, writing and anything to do with British history, specifically the tutors.

Michelle Uwangue is currently a sophomore, working as a staff writer for The Viking Press. She is a dedicated and creative student that enjoys being involved in her school community. Inside of school, she’s an active member of the newspaper staff. She’s also involved with debate, athletic internships, tutoring leadership, the basketball team and the Viking Ambassadors.
