Michelle Uwangue, Staff Writer
Michelle Uwangue is currently a sophomore, working as a staff writer for The Viking Press. She is a dedicated and creative student that enjoys being involved in her school community. Inside of school, she’s an active member of the newspaper staff. She’s also involved with debate, athletic internships, tutoring leadership, the basketball team and the Viking Ambassadors. Outside of school, Michelle loves spending time with friends and family, reading, and trying new things. She’s passionate about storytelling and using her voice to share ideas that matter. A fun fact about her is that she loves writing letters and still believes that handwritten letters never go out of style. She joined the newspaper because she wanted to improve her writing, collaborate with others and help make every issue the best it can be.
