The Transition Towards Spring Sports
With winter sports starting to unwind and the season beginning to end, spring sports have slowly started to get ready for their season. It has been a strange year for sports at The Village School. Many winter teams players, such as in soccer and basketball were quarantined for extensive periods of time due to exposure. Spring sports have begun their conditioning phase, and we can all hope that their seasons go as smoothly as possible.
Obviously, social distancing and mask-wearing has made the situation different and inconvenient for all parties involved. In spite of all this, The Village School kept students safe and quarantined when necessary. There have been multiple cases throughout the year when a player on an opposing team’s school contracted the virus, and The Village School took all cautions and implemented all necessary safety procedures to keep Viking athletes safe.
