Released on June 27, 2025, F1: The Movie – while not fresh on the market – is a monumental cinematic experience that cannot be missed. Starring phenomenal actors like Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and rich in driver cameos, the 2 hour 35 minute movie is vibrant in action, comedy, and emotion; guiding audiences through a phenomenal story of redemption in the face of adversity. The progression of the protagonist’s character (Sonny Hayes) demands empathy from watchers, rendering the movie an experience that connects with its audience. Not only is the movie itself incredibly well-made, the soundtrack does not disappoint. Including artists ranging from Tate Mcrae and Chris Stapleton, to ROSÉ, Don Toliver, and Doja Cat, it reaches any and all genres – and therefore people.

Although the film doesn’t reflect a realistic storyline, F1 fans have not held it against the directors and producers; finally having a storyline based on the well-loved sport has made the fiction of it worthwhile. Easter eggs and cameos allow avid F1 fans to enjoy the movie even more, as characters like Roscoe, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris, and more are featured. Regardless, the movie is for everyone. The story doesn’t require substantial knowledge on F1, and manages to touch the hearts of all those who watch the movie.

In essence, the movie is truly a five out of five must-see if you are in search of something that will make you both laugh and cry, while also being mesmerized by the cinematography of the piece. It is truly a fantastic movie that deserves worthy recognition for the effort of producers, directors, and actors in creating such a beautiful narrative.
