Religion, a practice that has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, now has a space to be practiced at The Village School. The VHS Student Government has worked alongside the administration and is working on finalizing a prayer space for the student body. “[The] prayer space is an interfaith space where students can feel comfortable, as they [can] pray in private, regardless of their faith,” said Vanguard representative Divya Khatri. The prayer room was formed after some students requested for one to be created in a fall town hall meeting. With this, Student Government hopes that students who need to pray can take time to themselves throughout the day, and be supported by their community.
