While we are all stuck at home, it feels as if there is not much we can do to entertain ourselves. However, listening to some good music is a great way to pass some time and discover music you may not have listened to otherwise. 

1. Diamond in my pocket – Cody Jinks

For the country fans, this will be a great listen! The song plays at a good pace. The combination of Cody Jinks’ southern drawl and perfect pitch and tone create a very entertaining song. 

2. Toosie Slide – Drake (some explicit language) 

Drake’s latest hit is very catchy! While the song doesn’t have much deep meaning it is sure to get stuck in your head. 

3. Addison Rae – The Kid LAROI (some explicit language)

Since many students will be spending a large amount of time on TikTok during quarantine, this song is catchy, fun to listen to, and is about one of TikTok’s biggest stars, Addison Rae. 

4. I Wish Grandpas Never Died – Riley Green

This song is very mellow and sad, however, it sounds beautiful, and it is clear Green is singing from his heart. The genre is country, but non-country fans will enjoy this song also. 

5. Free Bird – Lynyrd Skynyrd

Even though this song is 9 minutes long, it never gets old and changes pace a few times to keep the listener interested. This song is classic Rock and Roll and is highly recommended.

6. I’m Still – Juice Wrld (explicit language) 

This song by the late Juice Wrld is a very fun song to listen to. It details his pain due to his past loves, yet surprisingly, the song is never depressing. Instead, it will have you singing along to all the lyrics. 

7. Fortunate Son – Creedence Clearwater Revival

Released during the Vietnam War, this song is a key part of American history. The song’s social commentary helped open people’s eyes to what was happening in Vietnam. Overall, this song is very entertaining and is a classic Rock and roll song. 

8. Feathered Indians – Tyler Childers 

This is a mix of folk and country styles. Childers’ voice is perfect, and his song is generally entertaining. The lyrics will stick with you, and you will find yourself singing along, guaranteed.

All three of these songs come from the same album called Eternal Atake by Lil Uzi Vert. As fans, we waited on this album for what seemed like an eternity, and these songs are some of the best to offer from the album. Lil Uzi Vert is an amazing lyricist and you will find all of these songs were well worth the wait. 

12. Crazy Town – Jason Aldean 

A country song that talks about the music scene in Nashville Tennessee, this song is very loud and enjoyable. Aldean has a unique voice and the lyrics are quite catchy. 

13. Same Drugs – Chance the Rapper (no expletives, surprisingly) 

This song is a certified throwback that will take you back to the summer of 2016, which we can all agree, were better times. Chance the Rapper sings about his childhood and his deteriorating friendship/relationship with a girl. This song has appealing, calm energy. 

14. Thinkin Bout You – Frank Ocean 

How could Frank Ocean not make an appearance on this list? This comes from Ocean’s best album, Channel ORANGE. This song is quite mellow and will put you in a relaxed mood. 

15. Californication – Red Hot Chilli Peppers

This song details everything wrong with Hollywood and the entertainment industry, as it offers great social commentary while also being very easy to listen to. 

16. Goosebumps – Travis Scott (explicit)

Travis Scott is revered as an idol in the city of Houston. This is one of the best songs he has to offer, guaranteed to hype you up, and put you in a great mood. 

17. Beautiful Crazy – Luke Combs

Here is another beautiful country classic about Combs’ his love for his partner. Beautiful Crazy is a magnificent and meaningful song that is very easy to listen to. 

18. Let It Be – The Beatles 

What is there to say? After all, it’s the Beatles, one of the most influential and popular bands of all time. This is one of the best songs in their repertoire. If you have not listened to any Beatles music yet, I highly recommend listening to their Apple Music playlist.   

19. Stoney – Post Malone (explicit) 

I admit, this is not a song, but an entire album, however, you must listen to it. It is amazing from the first song to the last and still one of my top three albums of all time. 

20. NO BYSTANDERS – Travis Scott 

This song is an absolute banger! It will help you look forward to the times when you will no longer be stuck in the house all day.
