British thriller series The Stranger has released very successfully, with fans loving it the moment the show hit the screen! Since being released on January 30, 2020,  this show has achieved superb success in the past few months. The Stranger ended up having an 89% approval rate among watchers as well as an 83% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This British thriller series, composed by David Buckley and created by Harlen Cobben and Danny Brocklehurst, is based on Cobben’s 2015 novel The Stranger. The plot starts with an enticing twist when a stranger makes a shocking claim about a family man, Adam Prince. The stranger leaves Prince with a mystery about his wife,  making Prince desperate to find the truth about the people closest to him and leading him on a journey shrouded with mysteries and secrets to find the reality of his so-called “family”. 

The blockbuster series, which has been mainly streamed on Netflix, has reached new heights, with viewers highly praising the incredible twists in the story, as well as the fabulous filming and acting. The series has pushed the boundaries of creativity and imagination with incredibly enticing stories that are interconnected quite well. The show has been frequented with major success, but critics have claimed that the ending has been the low point of the series and was not up to par with the rest of the series. With a mean rating of 4 out of 5 on Google by its users, the show has been enjoyed by many fans around the world. 

Overall, I would give this movie an 8.5/10 as it is an amazing show that keeps you on the edge of your seats and leaves you yearning for more. For anyone who loves thriller and mystery shows, I would greatly recommend the series as it places high on my list of top shows!
