One of my favorite parts of the garden is the Koi pond. Koi is such a colorful carp that I can’t help but stop an admire their colors. Since I’ve known these Koi for a few years, I’ve come to recognize individual koi. For example, I like to call that big gold koi near the top “the gold bar”.

Now that a certain pandemic has now shut down the world, I thought I’d take some time to appreciate the small things in my life. One of such is my grandpa’s garden. To be honest, it’s not the best-looking place, but the vibe the garden radiates off to me puts me at peace. “Botch Serenity” is a term I like to think of this place as.

Welcome to the garden. My grandpa likes to use whatever materials he has on hand for the garden. For example, the tarp below has holes that were patched with bags for mulch sewn into the tarp itself.
